Can we talk about this??

Ok let's talk about how GREAT this outfit is from anthro. One of the many things I would kill for from there. Looks like this is not really gonna happen for a good long while/ever considering the adorable bag alone is $533. Yeah...I know.

Cadavers and Homecoming

Ok so maybe the two title words don't really fit! But I guess my two post topics do :). That's right, I work on cadavers... four of them! And-I have a public announcement/confession to make...when I look at people (i.e. friends, family, professors, grocery workers etc) I either A) see right through them and can only see muscles moving and bone/joints or B) I can only picture them dead. That's horrible I know! But funny. I guess you can decide you are studying a good amount when words just randomly go through your head that you have memorized, have dreams about it cadavers, and constantly just want to go up and start naming people's parts. Ha! Here is a brain...it's a real one, and I won't show you the whole body because that could be considered morbid.

Also homecoming! I am so excited and student government has rocked it this year. This is what the sidewalk looked like today when I walked out of class! Free cotton and candy and red punch. Wahoo!

And here is the beautiful sign I sewed. I am so proud of that sign! Ok so I know it is only two pieces of fabric sewed together, but it was a lot of fabric! And I messed up a lot. Oops. Ok have a good one all you readers. :)

I think I am busy..?

Pretty sure I am deciding I am re-heally busy. Right now I am working about 25-30 hours a week (I'm a nanny), 17 credits, ambassadors, studying and maybe sometimes even having a social life! But, I will admit for some reason I thrive on it. I always do way better when I am busy for some weird reason. But LOVING school this semester. I think it is that time in my life when I just want to soak up all the knowledge I can. I think after your first year of college school becomes more that way instead of just thinking about generals. It's really fun to get really into your classes and really ENJOY learning. Who would have thought I could like school?? Funny how that works.

Rodeo!

This weekend had a date...kind of rough. It was a blind date, and won't go into details but HELLO?! Sometimes I wonder....anyway, saturday was way fun! Me and the roomies went to the Dixie Sun Bowl and it was so fun! Here are some pictures:

Everyone should go to the rodeo at least ONCE in their life. Especially in St. George! So perfect. More later!

Girls night out!!

Last weekend was sooo fun. Me and about 12 of the girls down here got together for a girls night out on the town. It was so much fun. Way too much laughing went down, good stories, good food at Olive Garden, and a dance party to boot. Funny story....so college kind of kills your wallet, and I am prettyout of money right now so it was so funny to see everyone get this awesome pasta, and I got the cheapest soup there was. Yup, and that's what college books and fees will do to ya!

Ugh times 10.

Dear knee,

I really like you when you are functioning right, and I really, REALLY don't like you when you are malfunctioning like you are. I would really like it if you would get better so I don't have to book it across campus in the heat on crutches. Lucky for you and me, the wonderful people at the Disability Resource Center are going to drive me from class to class. I would sincerely appreciate your cooperation in keeping up with my busy life and helping not hindering me. Thank you for your help...when you are helping, which is not right now.

Love, Chels
